Disabled Students Unlimited ( DSU ) Membership
Membership in the DSU is a simple and straight forward process. There are a few criteria that must be met in order to join. The criteria are as follows :
- Be a DeAnza Student or a member of the Faculty
- Must not be on academic probation
- Must be enrolled in at least 2 ( two ) units at DeAnza College
- Have in interest in either assisting, or learning about students / faculty with disabilities
Anyone interested in joining who meets the above criteria can fill out the online form below and submit their contact information. We will send out a confirmation of reciept e-mail and thats it. You are then a member!
When contacted by e-mail, you will be asked to contact one of the officers or advisors about submitting your dues for the Quarter or Year. Dues are $5.00 per Quarter or $15.00 per School Year.
The duties of our members include :
- Promote acceptance and understanding for people who might have a disability
- Assist disabled members with the transition to the College environment
- Must be willing to assist with fundraising activities
- Must attend at least one ( 1 ) meeting a month
- Attend on & off campus activities
